In a year of milestones for Miley Cyrus, the Hollywood Records superstar just reached another big one, having her first #1 hit single at Top 40 radio with “Party in the U.S.A.” On October 26, the single hit the top spot, with nearly 11,000 spins, beating out competing tracks by Beyonce, Lada GaGa and Kelly Clarkson.

Miley has added an extra date at London’s 23,000-capacity O2 Arena to meet demand after selling out her 2009 U.K./Ireland tour.

The new date takes place on Dec. 29 and will form the fifth and final London show of her tour. All four existing London dates (Dec. 13, 14, 19, 20) have sold out, as have the artist’s shows at Dublin’s O2 Arena (Dec. 16 to Dec. 17), Birmingham’s LG Arena (Dec. 22 to Dec. 23) and Manchester’s MEN Arena (Dec. 27 to Dec. 28).

Miley was seen at the City of Hope’s 2nd Annual ‘Concert For Hope’ held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Sunday evening, along with Jesse McCartney and Demi Lovato.

The event benefited lifesaving cancer research and treatment programs at City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading cancer centers.

Miley is donating 1 dollar from every ticket sold during her Wonder World Tour. Last year Miley did the same thing and she raised over two million dollars for the organization!!
